A worry-free electric experience

Each smart vehicle comes with a 3-year or 60,000km (whichever comes first) manufacturer’s warranty¹ on materials and workmanship, starting from the date of first registration. It covers free vehicle repairing and replacement of any defective parts (excluding wear and tear items, and accident repairs), coverage is also extended to designated service centres in the Guangdong Province, providing consistent and reliable support across the Greater Bay Area.

High-voltage battery warranty

You will get a high-voltage component warranty, covering the HV battery for 8 years or 160,000km (whichever comes first).

PREMIER Protection Plan

We provide the PREMIER Protection Plan, which lengthens the smart protection for your car to a maximum of 6 years. At the end of the first 3-year warranty period, you can opt for an immediate extension for comprehensive protection. Price starts from HK$3,500.

As the battery comes with a warranty for a minimum of 8 years or 160,000 km, it is not within the scope of the plan’s protection.

1: Your vehicle must always be properly used and maintained in accordance with smart's operating instructions, capacity limitations and procedures.

2: Your vehicle should not be used for commercial purposes.

3: The Plan does not cover:

Any cost of remedying loss or damage due to normal wear and tear of your vehicle;

Any breakdown of your vehicle that has not been reasonably serviced within 12 months or 10,000km according to smart's operating instructions, capacity limitations and procedures;

Any loss or damage resulting from the alteration or modification from the Manufacturer’s specification or by installation into the vehicle parts of other storage.

4: Premier Protection Plan will be void if vehicle mileage exceeds 60,000km within 36 months of first registration.

Extended coverage with valid Premier Protection Plan:

additional 12 months: up to 85,000km

additional 24 months: up to 110,000km

additional 36 months: up to 135,000km

5: Please refer to the contract for the full version of the terms and conditions.

6: If there are any inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions of the terms, the English version shall prevail.
